Likewise I could do with some advice and I did have the only Stratos at Draycote Water (a second has arrived in the last month)- difficult to compare notes!
I've been messing around with shroud settings (4 holes on outers and 5 on lowers at present keep the mast straight), genoa sheet settings (3-5 holes back depending on wind) and kicker (loads on in a breeze upwind). Spreader angle to original manual. Does anyone fancy meeting up somewhere some time for a bit of on the water boat vs boat tuning?
I don't know if this helps anyone, but The last few days down here in Poole have given us light winds (F2 or less). As a result I tensioned the rig to four holes down and found some inprovement in boat speed. The follwing day I move to five holes and two up (130Kg)it move a little quicker. The day after started with a F2 and I left the tension at 5 holes down. As the wind picked up to the top end of F3 the boat was very over powered and as the wind force reached 4 I reefed the main (two reefs. We blasted around and returned exhausted. However, I think that 5 holes down for F2, 4 holes down for mid F3 to mid F4 and 3 holes down for F5 seems about right. Anyone else find the same? P.S. We paid close attention to boat trim and balance at all times. Regards, Shaun.
