My Roller furler keeps jamming, when I removed it to look to lubricate the bearings I found the the furler was running on about 2/3rd of the ball bearings needed to completely 'fill' the circumference track in the furler.
Have I lost some of the balls? or is this normal and secondly can you get replacement balls, a new furler at £206 is a little excessive for 5 plastic balls! Can anyone help?
Don't think you've lost any. Ours was the same as you describe. It used to jam, especially with a lot of tension on the jib. I think on ours it was the (don't know the right term) rotating bits on the halyard that attach to the head of the jib. When I lubed that with some GT85 we don't seem to have a sticking jib anymore.
