I have been trying to join the class association since November but can not get any response to my application or emails. Is it moribund?

As far as I know the CA is still there. Probably time of year ! Some of us still out sailing and reading the forum but I suppose things are quieter this time of year........Hope someone gets back to you soon

I had/ have the same problem. Sent cheque, no response and that was a year a go so I'm not sure if I'm a member or not(should have checked if cheque was cashed but a tenner onto the overdraft makes little difference!!!).
Would be good to get the Association going a little more.

I joined in oct and got a prompt-ish response. I have only sailed once since as the season took over. But skiings over Xmas is over so its the summer next! right ? ........... ok,,,,,,,, get feb out the way, then its spring, horray

The £10 fee is due annually, right?
Is the CA still on cheques? -- I don't remember setting up a direct debit. Do we just post our membership renewal or does Sandy or Peter remind us?

| Hello and I apologise for the delay in replying. George, I have just sent you an email with your membership number. I did reply last week but it semms to have got lost. If this email does not arrive please contact me via this forum and I will phone you (I have your phone number on your forms). Membership renewal notices will be going out in mid March. Please return then ASAP as this does make my life easier and it means you can all take part in this years Nationals at Lymington in July. To Mark, I'm sorry but I have not received any forms from you. If you would still like to join please send another set of forms (sorry!) and I can then give you a membership number and then you too can come to the Nationals! Sandy |
