Posted - 20 Jun 2014 : 16:18:53 Can anyone help? I recently brought a laser stratos that has been sailed on the sea in North Wales. I am delighted with the boat, and the only fault I have found with it is that the blue hull is quite faded. Can anyone recommend what I should do to restore it to it's former glory? I have tried polishing with some hull renovating type polish, but that seemed to make no difference. Would Tcut do it? Have I got to repaint/spray the hull? Regards Dominic

You are basically taking microns of gel coat off. I do my red stratos every couple of years! When I need a new cover I will buy one like the rain n sun brand ones where the sides go right down below the colour band to help reduce fading.
