Hello - for those of you who don't know The Laser Stratos Class Association has been one person for the past 10 years - that person is me - Sandy - and now is the time for me to "retire". I have been class secretary, membership secretary, treasurer, organised the Nationals, got the money from the sponsors and spent the money on "goody bags" etc. Pete, my husband, is also the moderator for this forum and generally keeps it going, sorting out people who have forgotten passwords, gets rid of spam type stuff etc. For the past couple of years I realise I could have done more - but as everyone knows these days life is very busy for all of us (eg full time job, 3 children - sorry 2 children and a husband - both children now doing GCSE's - and eveything else that comes along). All those people out there who think they can do a better job than me - please get in touch - or talk things over at the Nationals. We wouldn't what the class association to fizzle out now would we?!
At this point I would like to thank everyone who has come to our events over the years, helped out at out training weekends and made all these events such fun. I would especially like to thank David Swift for helping so much with the Nationals last year.
On a final point, if people would like it, I could possibly get the Nationals at my home club, Whitstable YC, again next year - but I need to know soon.
Unfortunately I will not be attending the Nationals this years as I have torn the tendons in my right wrist - I hope those who attend have a great weekend.

Hi sandy. We had a chat at Bala over the weekend and your offer of whitstable would be great.
I would also like to put myself forward as secretary for the association,
How can we go forward on this?
