Spoke to my local Laser dealer and they told me it is not serious and can be "fixed" with grey silicon sealant.. Put tape on eighter side of the crack, fill it with sealant and smooth it. Let it dry and remove the tape the next day.

Mine has done it and has been like it for a few years without problems (its on my list of things to do !)
Did the Nationals Mk 2 happen does anyone know ?

Posted - 25 Aug 2008 : 21:45:29 Hi Grahn,
My Stratos Keel is from May 2008 and cracks are already developing. Just contact Laser about what to do. I will do the same and let you know the result.
In the mean time happy sailing.
