Hi,

Racing last night and the jib furling drum line broke.

As getting dark didn't get chance to look at it in detail but I think that to reattach all I need to do is the undo the 2 philips head screws, take off the shackle and the furler should drop down and I can reattach the line.

Does anyone have any experience of this? Any help would be welcome.

thanks

Mark

Yes. When I bought mine from new the knot in the furler "came undone". I unscrewed the 2 screws and the whole mechanism fell apart with plastic ball bearings going everywhere :(

several years ago now so I can't quite remember but I think you have to keep hold of the top to stop it falling apart.
