Hello,
Can anybody provide some help me understand the difference between the number on the aluminium plate on the inboard side of the transom to the number embossed on the outboard side of the transom and the sail number.Should these numbers relate in any way?
Hope someone can help.
Thanks in advance
Neil

Many thanks for that. Ive just confirmed the same via Laser Help line.
The number on the back of the transome would appear to be the factory mould number and identifies the year of manufacture.
Cheers
Neil sail number 312 (Now I know!)

The number inboard on the plate (three numbers ) is your sail number........the longer number on the outboard side of the transom I think is some form of unique reference number for the boat which I keep a note of in case of theft etc (unless anyone knows different ?)

regards

Neil (270)
