Have now had a couple of blasts in my recently aquired (oldish)Stratos........great boat, great fun, pleasently challenging in stronger winds !

I have what I think are older purple bottle screws to set the spreaders and was just wondering if anyone has the same and what measurements you use for various wind strengths. Unilke some classes there does not seem to be any tuning guides apart from well founded experience(or is there).....is it something the sail/mast producers have helped with in the past ?

Also in the latest rigging manual it says that the centre board should be down at all times.....I understand this whilst having the genneker up etc but I presume that does not apply to gybing ?(I did'nt have it down and unless there is something I am missing don't intend to as its too cold to go swimming !). I seem to have the same problem as many others with the lack of friction on the centreboard so it comes up anyway....going to try the shockcord advice as in previous posts (anyother tips for keeping it in place ?)

regards
