I have been looking at replacing some ropes on a Stratos. I have come across the jib tensioner which is worn at the shackle. a) does anyone know the length of the rope and diameter and b) how does this attach. I can see that the hook attaches to the jib halyard wire but cant see where the shackle and block fit.

I've looked through the rigging guides and pictures but can see hot the bottom part f this attaches. Does anyone have a picture to explain it?

Cheers

On my list I have it down as 5.5mm, length wise at a guess I would expect 2m to be enough.
Lower pulley screwed to mast, cleat screwed to mast, 1 x free moving pulley, hook for wire halyard c/w own lower pulley.
Makes sense when you see it in't flesh.

Martin.
