Posted - 22 Mar 2009 : 17:12:07 £4,500 for Stratos Keel sail number 318.
Blue hull with white bottom and grey deck. Hull has never been anti-fouled. Hull is in good condition, one small repair (chip to bow about size of 5p), and a few minor scratches and scuffs. No leaks. Keel has repair near top which does not affect operation.
Boat has had 2 owners. First owner sailed in Chichester harbour then kept the boat under cover in Cornwall for use on holidays. Second owner keeps boat out of water in Seaford and has to tow to Newhaven to launch. Little used by either owner.
3 sails: Mylar main sail looks almost like new, jib in good condition but some sun bleaching on outer edge, gennacker bright orangey red hardly used but 2 small repairs from snagging.
What you get for your money:
The boat. Combi trailer ie a launching trolley that fits onto a road trailer. Reasonable condition except for winch that is rusty. Set of sails. Outboard motor bracket (fixed in place). Outboard motor: Honda 2hp fourstroke. Old but so far reliable. Paddles. Trailer lock (old and rusty). Boat top cover (nearing the end of its life). Viewing welcome at Seaford (between Brighton and Eastbourne).
